Sex And The City uses John Truelove’s mix of You Got The Love

Sex and the City is an American cable television and film series. The original run of the show was broadcast on HBO from 1998 until 2004, for a total of ninety-four episodes. The very final episode “An American Girl In Paris (Part Deux)” featured You Got The Love (Now Voyager Mix) produced mixed and co-written by John Truelove. The song was used for a massive two and half minutes as the background for the closing scenes and final credits The show was primarily filmed at New York City’s Silvercup Studios and on location in and around Manhattan. Since it ended, the show has been aired in syndication on networks such as TBS, WGN, and many other local stations. However, basic cable outlets at local stations excise certain explicit show content that was broadcast in the original version. In 2007 it was listed as one of Time magazine’s “100 Best TV Shows of All-TIME.”
